YOUTH

The primary task of our youth ministries program is first to love each youth exactly where they are, celebrating their accomplishments and giving them opportunities to experience new things.  Youth are encouraged to participate in worship and Sunday School, exploring  their relationship with God and developing an ever-maturing faith.

We are a very active group beginning with regular Sunday evening programs for middle school and high school youth, and a combined meal and fellowship time.  We do a variety of activities throughout the year, including hosting a haunted house, working at the local food bank, retreats, delivering cookies and valentines to homebound church members, and presenting Youth Sunday for the congregation.  A very important part of what we do is       mission trips in the summer with the goal of helping the youth consider how they will answer God’s call to a lifestyle of helping other people.

All youth, grades 6 through 12, are always welcome.
