Youth Education: The Story-Tellin' Man

"The Story-Tellin' Man" is a musical for children and youth by Ken Medema. Jesus was a Teacher who told lots of stories, from happy to sad and adventuress to thought- provoking. Every story had an important lesson. This musical tells some of those stories with speakers and music. Every Sunday for nine weeks they will learn about one of the stories in the book, sing the songs, build sets and costumes and learn dance movements. The performance will be at 10:00 am on November 9.

Faithlink is a study for use by groups who want to apply their United Methodist beliefs to current faith issues and world events. This guide will not only motivate Christians to consider their personal views on important contemporary issues, it will also encourage them to act on their beliefs.

Protestant Reformer John Calvin called the Psalms "Anatomy of all the Parts of the Soul". He says, "There is not an emotion of which any one can be conscious, that is not here represented as in a mirror." This study is designed to provide three means of access to the Psalms: Prayer, Poetry and Faith. It will invite you to engage the Psalms at the deepest levels of your heart.

Youth Mission Trip - Sierra Service Project! There will be a presentation given by the youth and leaders who experienced the mission trip to Tijuana, Mexico. The presentation and potluck is on Sunday, September 28th, following the 11:00 worship service in Youngson Hall. As well as the presentation/potluck the youth will be leading both worship services on this very special day.
